 Delta County Colorado is starting to get the reputation of a "Foodie Paradise". We are unofficially Colorado's Farmers market as much of the produce and organic produce from Delta county is shipped all over the state and can be found at many ski resort and Colorado front range farmer's markets. Enjoy all Delta Counties road side stands and purchase all fresh fruits and vegetables grown locally i.e., pepper, squash, zuchini, lettcue, tomatoes and herbs. (Fingerling potatoes are our favorite!)  There are many organic farms in the area and the organic farming movement is growing rapidly here (no pun intended). 

Olathe Sweet Corn is considered some of the best in the nation. Cedaredge grows 7 seven different kinds of apples (Honey Crisp, our favorite!)  Cedaredge & Paonia cherries are a taste of heaven and our peaches rule! From Cedaredge, Hotchkiss and especially Paonia, we have over a dozen wineries for tastings and tours. (Our favorite, Pinot Noir!) 

Recent articles in the Denver Post and and the Aspen Times have recently commented on this Delta County Foodie trend.  Restaurants are opening serving the local foods and local wines produced in this area.
